TEXOMA Judo & Ju Jitsu of Wichita Falls, Texas is pleased to announce its 5th annual Lone Star Judo training camp. This camp is for any Judoka, age 9 and older, wanting to improve their Judo's quality and depth while forging new friendships on the mat.

The camp will be conducted at Bill Bartley Branch Family YMCA located at 5001 Bartley Dr., Wichita Falls, TX, 76308. Pre-registration will be held on June 1st, 2008 from 2 to 4 PM. Training will be conducted on Monday thru June 2nd thru 6th, 2008. The Camp Schedule will be:

3 Sessions daily

(Monday-Thursday)

8-11 am

1-4 pm

6-9 pm

2 Sessions (Friday)

8-11 am

1-4 pm

The camp fee is $120 for the week or $10 per session. Partial week plans are available.

The focus of the camp is on improvement of competitive skills and techniques. Advanced tachi and newaza techniques will be covered during the day sessions. The evening session will feature standing and ground randori opportunities. There will be a different Primary Instructor for each day of the camp. There will be the opportunity for promotion evaluations in Judo on Friday.

For campers 17 and older, meals and lodging is available on the Midwestern State University Campus for an additional fee. You must pre-register by 5/15 in order to take advantage of this camp feature.
